Knit mittens
Wool mittens are a warm and traditional knitting project. The thumb opening is made with waste yarn, so the work is simpler than it looks.

- 100 g of wool yarn
- Double-pointed needles 3–3.5 mm
- Waste yarn (in a different colour)
- Darning needle
- Tape measure
Steps
Measure your hand
Measure the circumference of your palm and the length of your hand from the wrist to the tip of your middle finger.
Cast on
Knit the cuff
Knit the palm
Mark the thumb opening
Knit past the little finger
Decrease for the tip
