Insect hotel

An insect hotel provides a nesting place for pollinators such as solitary bees. You can build one from natural materials.

• Wooden box or frame
• Bamboo, reeds or hollow stems
• Drilled wooden blocks
• Pine cones, twigs and bark

2. Add a roof

3. Fill it

4. Drill the holes

5. Place it in the sun

6. Plant flowers nearby
